The Step Sis Cure
Daisy Phoenix pushed open the door to the bedrrom. Kai Jaxon had called out of class that morning, claiming he was sick. She found him slouched on the bed, the curtains drawn. "You don’t look sick," she thought, her eyes narrowing as she took in the scene. His head was in his hands, and when he glanced up, his red-rimmed eyes told her the truth. He hadn’t been sick Without a word, she sat beside him, their shoulders brushing. He stiffened but didn’t pull away. The silence stretched before he finally muttered something about failing, about how everything felt like too much. Daisy placed her hand on his, squeezing gently. He didn’t let go. Their eyes met, and the unspoken connection between them deepened. Kai leaned in first, hesitant but sure. Daisy met him halfway, their lips brushing softly before the kiss deepened, filled with unspoken emotions. Fingers tangled, breaths quickened, and the weight of the world seemed to fall away. For a moment, there was only them - two roommates finding comfort and something more in each other.
