Bath Time with Mom
Now the doctor said that I'm supposed to help you bathe yourself while you're in your cast. Okay? It's a bummer you had to break your dominant hand, sweetheart. I know this seems a little awkward, but it's nothing I haven't seen before! Let's just get this over with. Let me just go ahead and soap you up... .I'll start with your feet. Use your good hand to keep yourself propped up. You can't get your cast wet at all. Very good. Oh! Whoops! Maybe I shouldn't have been cleaning there so much... I didn't mean to make it do that.... Don't be embarrassed! It's totally natural! I was just touching it so it automatically got hard, right? That's all it is. Wow, honey... it's looking a little painful actually. Is.. is it pulsing? That can't be comfortable.... I should have realized... with your main hand in a cast you can't relieve yourself, can you? Not to worry, sweety. I'll take care of it. Just try and imagine something else. This is purely for medical purposes
