Sometimes the studio can be a little bit like a pedestal - imbuing women with this impossible perfection, this contextless beauty. So its interesting to have spent time with Emily in her diaries, in her home and her world, allowing her to debut on her own terms. I wonder how the experience is different for her? Even though she can make as much noise as she wants in the studio, it seems that trying to keep quiet has become a bit of a habit.
