Cheerleader Quits
For being a cheerleader, Sam is very much down to earth and still a sensitive sweet girl at heart. That is pretty much why she was vulnerable to queen bee Aubrey, who happens to be captain of the squad, and doesn't mind putting down any girl she perceives as a threat. As we mentioned Sam is sweet, and gets along with every girl on the team so Aubrey felt like she was becoming a threat so she heckled Sam while she was changing in the locker room, and did it in front of the whole squad! Sam was traumatized by this and went to see Coach Deacon to inform him she was quitting cheer. Coach Deacon tries to persuade Sam to stay on and attempts to work out Sam's trauma that she's felt ever since Aubrey made fun of her. The cheer coach suggests that if Sam were to UNDRESS in front of him, it might alleviate some of her phobia of getting changed in front of people again. Will Sam go along with this? does this naive cheerleader realize her coach may be TAKING ADVANTAGE of her vulnerability? probably not.
