Imaginary Friend
Growing up, many of us had imaginary friends. These companions were more than just playful figments; they were part of the internal worlds we built to explore our hidden desires, identities and emotions. Through fantasy, we allowed ourselves the freedom to express parts of ourselves we couldn’t fully reveal to the outside world. This scene taps into that same essence of inner exploration, highlighting how pleasure doesn’t always require an external partner. The model's connection with his imaginary friend reflects how many queer men, for various reasons - whether due to societal shame, lack of safe spaces or personal preference - often engage in sexual experiences privately. In these moments, the imagination becomes the stage for erotic expression, where fantasy provides a sense of freedom and autonomy. Video concept by Matthew Shur.
