The benefits of the Kinsey Report are well evident for Elayne. Her generation is the first to get the green light for self-pleasure as something that is, in fact, quite normal, and it certainly doesn't look like she's just discovered it herself. Sometimes it's hard to believe that self-pleasure was a matter of shame less than a century ago, but that doesn't mean it wasn't still fun.
