JAV

Top-rated JAV performers of 2002

Performers ranked by the scores of their titles. Only titles with one or two credited performers count, so large-cast releases do not lift everyone in them. Male performers are not ranked.

How the score works

Performer score: the mean of their 10 best-scored titles with one or two credited performers. Missing slots count as the overall mean; at least 3 titles to be listed (per year: best 5, at least 2).
Each title's JavDB rating and FANZA review average are compared with that site's overall mean and weighted by their vote and review counts. Titles with few votes are pulled towards the mean (prior: 30 votes).
A small log-scaled bonus (at most 0.1) for the JavDB want-list count.
Eligible: released original titles with at least 20 JavDB votes or 5 FANZA reviews. Compilations, 4-hour best-ofs, remasters and reissues are left out.
Ratings come from each site's users; Scenedex only computes the order.
The order is recalculated once a day.
