The Crossing
It has been a month since Brea was caught and stabbed. Rafeynor is no longer safe for her and her followers. Her revolution never took hold and those who helped are either dead or hiding from the King's armies. The Dark Elf Raven, who found Brea nearly dead, has beenhealing and helping her stay ahead of the King's trackers. Every day, they traveled as much as Brea's wounds would allow. Both Brea and Raven felt a growing attraction towards one another, however there was little time for talk or bonding, they had to march. The pace that Raven set nearly brought Brea to exhaustion, but they did not slow. Norththrough the Ancient Forest, they finally arrived at the Marshes of Eldamar. It has been years since Brea last traveled through these Marshes, and her memories of its secret paths were faint. After some searching she managed to remember the location of a raft that was hidden along the shore. Without wasting anytime, Brea and Raven boarded the log raft and began to navigate through the waters. Finally, they could slow their pace, on the water they could not be tracked so easily. It was a chance for Brea to recover from the ordeal she had been through in the last month, and a chance to show Raven her gratitude.
