Free Again
We got a call from Carl a few weeks back to say he was thinking of doing some duo scenes. Was this the same chap who once said he wouldn't sleep with any woman other than his wife – even for a million quid? We learned that Carl's world has recently been turned upside down ever since his marriage collapsed. He admits he isn't coping well with single life; his confidence has taken an almighty bashing; he is missing his three kids terribly and he has basically become a broken man. We knew we had to give him a night away in a decent hotel, pamper him and remind him how many fans he has. He arrives in a sweaty tee shirt and shorts straight from the gym and we sit and chat. He drinks a load of beer and opens up. It's funny how Carl still needs convincing of the value of his assets: he has no idea how much pleasure that hammer-headed bully that lurks in his shorts would bring to so many women. After the shoot we watch him shower, fix his hair and get dressed up and then leave him to go out on the town alone – something he's still trying to get used to.
