‘The Perfect Red” is a concept that has always pervaded my poetic space – the search for it, the meaning of it. I’ve never been entirely comfortable with red. Does it threaten? Does it bite? Is it dangerous? I’m still not comfortable, but I know perfection when I see it – which is I’ll keep thinking about Bobbie’s lips, long after her video is over.
