Meet The Ravines
My girlfriend Gigi has been keeping me away from her family since the day we met. It helps that they live out of state, and that I'm really don't care, but I've heard how crazy and kooky they are from her, so to be fair, I am a little curious as we drive out to meet them this March weekend. I've heard about how they will not stop asking questions, and then give us their politics (and religion) and how they own eat beige food, but I'm going to be a good guy, and be the nicest and most presentable boyfriend she's ever brought home ... oh ... just found out I'm the only boyfriend she's ever brought home. [8 hours later] They were great! The BBQ'd steaks and shrimp, had plenty of beer and wine and told stories about Gigi as a child in which she got totally embarrassed ... and now I've got to pretend it was a challenge for me, as she's promised me "Thank you sex" as soon as get into private.
