Pleasure Positions
Our body is full of different pleasure zones waiting to be discovered! This episode featuring Maria Riot, Lina Bembe and Amber Mallery is all about the many ways to find pleasure on one’s body while addressing the misinformation we may have all seen in pornography. Lina and Maria provide some behind the scenes information on the porn set magic while Amber offered some academic perspective to what pleasure is. These perspectives create a dynamic that unite realities and fantasies, allowing the audience to get the most out of their sex life. But not without covering some of the challenges one may run into, and how to handle them in a playful manner. Pleasure positions challenge the belief that sex must be penetrative and heteronormative, making pleasure positions critical for unlearning a lot of harm that may be clouding our experiences. Addressing aspects of sex and disability, we all have physical and mental limitations so why not address it to include everyone in pleasure. Of course, taking all you have learned to the next level while Lina and Maria explore each other’s pleasure zones.
